"The Mitten" is the folklore story well known in Ukraine and Canada. The story tells about a mitten lost in a forest. Wild animals come to the mitten, trying to find shelter inside. Space is very tight but still can accommodate everyone who needs a home.
The book is the fourth in the series of bilingual books with traditional Ukrainian folk tales retold and illustrated by the artist Olya Tkachenko.
